Having a puppy is a special and fun time. Socialising, obedience and training are very important aspects but groom training often gets overlooked, this is why we have curated this workshop for puppy owners.
We believe the training and desensitisation around grooming is more important than the groom itself, getting your new puppy to be calm and co-operative can set them up for success to ensure the grooming experience is as comfortable as possible for both your dog and the groomer.
Course runs every second Tuesday (1st and 3rd Tuesday of the month) from 6.30pm to 8pm and the last Saturday of the month 9.30 – 11am

Course Details
- Duration: 1.5 hours (6.30 – 8pm or 9.30 – 11am)
- Hands on class with your puppy
- Learn to safely train your puppy ready for grooming at home with confidence!
- You will learn the skills to teach your puppy.
- Build trust and confidence to stand and feel comfortable on the table
- Brush and comb techniques
- Basic cleaning and care of your puppy’s coat
- Safe trimming around the eyes
- Products and tools and how to use them
